how about we each come up with 2 questions about the book. then we can all discuss it that way? or something else? it looks like a fun, quick read. i can't wait to start!
I love Princess Academy! Goose Girl is really good too. And have you read Austenland by the same author. If you love Jane Austen you'll love that book.
As for Book of a Thousand Days, should we dicsuss in 2 weeks or do you need more time to read it?
Hey Michelle - Supercool Mom sent one to your family email address yesterday, it might be in your junk mail. I also sent another to the new address you provided.
Wendi - you've got an invite to be a blog author hanging out there in cyberspace too. I just resent it. Look for it in your email (the one with your honey and you.)
I can't wait to begin this book! In my neighborhood book club we're reading The Goose Girl sometime in the next few months, so I'm excited to read something else by Shannon Hale.
Also Kay, you can check out the church website at LDS.org it has a really great FAQ page and lots of other great information.
I'm reading the Emily series, and trying to get to the library for Book Theif and Thousand Days. I'm itching to get my hands on them. I'm also gonna borrow Ender's Game from my boys and see what the hype is all about. (I've been resisting the sci fi.)
I just read The Bishop's Bride by Elizabeth Watkins, (LDS fiction) yesterday. It was a cute romance.
I looked up the book at the mesa library and it has a waiting list, so I'll have to try to find it on ebay or something. If anyone finds it for cheap- let me know.
i just realized how smug that sounded of me. i'm sorry. i just have a habit of stopping everything to read a book i love. and i mean everything! sleeping, eating, my kids, my hubby...
i just knew i wasn't going to be able to put it down until i was finished.

I all for reading this book. Another lady in my neighborhood was reading this the other day, and said it's really great.
Have you guys read Princess Academy, by the same author? Cute.
Ender's Game is one of my all time favorites. I'd love to do that one sometime, Michelle!
Also the Emily series.

Two weeks sounds good to me! My boys love Enders Game, and I'll admit, I've never read it. But I'm game!
